This recruitment is for one full-time, Seasonal, permanent, **Senior Park Aide**position, located at Columbia Hills State Park, in Klickitat County, Washington.
The season dates for this position are March 1st through October 31st, yearly.

Under the supervision and direction of the Park Ranger, this position is essential to the state park's mission of operating, enhancing, and protecting our Parks' recreational, cultural, historical and natural sites. The Senior Park Aide will assist and contribute toward all aspects of park operations and will lead work responsibilities.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
* Lead Park Aides.
* Maintain a basic understanding of CAMIS software and hardware (camper registration system).
* Perform grounds maintenance and clean all park facilities, including picnic sites, trails, campsites, and roads.
* Maintains park lawns using a mowers, weed eaters, trimmers and various other tools.
* Register campers, collect, sort, and count revenue; prepare bank transmittals and deposits.
* Answer phones and provide park information to the public regarding park rules and regulations, local events, activities, walks and talks, and historic information.
* Twelve months of experience in building maintenance or grounds keeping, or performing semi-skilled/general carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing repair work.
* Six months cumulative experience as a Park Aide or equivalent, or six months experience in a special employment program (WCC) with a parks agency. A combination of experience (WCC and Park Aide) may be used provided at least three months experience is as a Park Aide or equivalent.
* A valid unrestricted driver's license (other than corrective lenses).
